Eftychios Pitros LLB MA MRICS is the Chief Advocate at Eftychios Pitros Legal Associates and a Chartered Surveyor. From an early age, he was involved into his father’s real estate business and always admired his career as a Civil Engineer and Chartered Surveyor-Valuer. This passion developed into a yearning to perfect his knowledge in the matter and led him to the pursuing of an LL.B. (Legum Baccalaureus) degree from the University of Wolverhampton, from which he graduated with Honours in 2008, and later on an M.A. (Magister Artium) from Kingston University London in European Real Estate (Immobilia), from which he also graduated with Honours, in late 2009.
His M.A. thesis, titled “The multiple social, economic, legislative and governmental factors ensure that Cyprus residential households still have one of the highest rates of owner-occupation in Europe“, described the economically accessible options and legal opportunities, surrounded by social factors, in Cyprus for the years 2009 – 2010. These factors were key towards the acquisition of immovable property in Cyprus. In fact, it was proven that Cyprus is the preferable choice for overseas property investors.
After completion of his studies in the United Kingdom, Eftychios returned to Cyprus where he joined Phoebus, Christos Clerides & Associates in Nicosia, a professional LLC since 1950. During his two years at the firm, he successfully completed his legal training and acquired his Cyprus Bar Association Licence in 2011. At September 2011 he joined his father’s company, Renos Pitros, FRICS-Chartered Surveyors, where he is performing Legal Adviser duties on real estates.
In a journey to perfect his knowledge, Eftychios regularly attends conferences and seminars based on adjudication, mitigation, arbitration standards and UK guidelines which are approved by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. In fact, Eftychios is the only advocate in Paphos who is a professional Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
Eftychios is active in numerous kinds of legal cases and represents his clients in the court room in Paphos, Limassol, Larnaca and Nicosia.
